At iLEAD we’ve built a model based on the what we believe to be the best of all that is out there. We believe passionately in project-based learning not because it’s a fad but because it goes to the heart of how kids learn. We’ve incorporated technology not as a spiffy add-on but as an organic part of the learning process in the 21st century.

How We Collect Your Information

Do Not Track Disclosure

Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a standard that is currently under development. As it is not yet finalized, we adhere to the standards set out in this privacy policy. To learn about Do Not Track, please click here.

Children’s Privacy

Only persons age 18 or older have permission to access our Service. Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”).

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you learn that your Children have provided us with Personal Information, please contact us by sending an email to info@ileadschools.org. In e-mail please include the child’s username and the parent’s email address and telephone number. If we become aware that we have collected the information from a children under age 18 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove the information from our servers, unless we are required by applicable law to maintain the information.

Important information regarding confidential student data

There is ongoing litigation between the California Department of Education and the Concerned Parent Association. A notice issued by State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Torlakson states, “The lawsuit accuses CDE of widespread, systemic non-compliance by local educational agencies with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504. The CDE denies these allegations and is actively defending the litigation.”

The court has ordered CDE to release student and parent information to provide personally identifiable information (PII) – an act that can only be taken as an exception to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). As a result, we are providing notice of the court order and directions to anyone wishing to object.
